Silicon Valley Academy seeks a visionary and dynamic Accelerated High School Director to lead and expand our accelerated one-year, independent-study, college-preparatory program within an Islamic learning environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong instructional skills—particularly in English Language Arts and related subjects—with strategic leadership to grow our current model into a comprehensive, two-year high school program. The High School Director will oversee all aspects of the academic program, provide direct instruction, mentor students, and develop an innovative vision for the future of our high school offerings.

About Our School and Accelerated High School Program

Silicon Valley Academy is a full-time private Islamic school located in Sunnyvale, California. For 30 years, SVA has been nurturing and providing quality education to Silicon Valley Muslim youth. SVA offers four educational programs: pre-kindergarten for ages 2 ½ to 5 years, an elementary program for kindergarten through grade five, a middle school program for grades six through eight, and a small accelerated high school program. At Silicon Valley Academy, we empower our students to meet their highest potential, nurture students’ social-emotional growth, and build an Islamic culture that aims to serve society.

Our accelerated high school currently offers a one-year, college-preparatory curriculum equivalent to the freshman and sophomore years of high school. Students engage in independent study guided by dedicated teachers who provide in-person instruction, regular mentorship, and individualized support. Students take the California Proficiency Program (CPP) exam to demonstrate high school proficiency, enabling them to enroll in community colleges or apply to four-year universities. Our goal is to expand this model into a two-year high school program that continues to support accelerated learners in an Islamic, values-based environment.
